Documentary Family Sessions

The session is done at your home, capturing part of your every day life or a family celebration, or outside your home at a location of your choosing where your family partakes in a favorite activity or past time. There are no posed photos at all, with the exception of 10 minutes at the end of the session if the family desires a handful of posed portraits. $225 for 1 hour

$425 for 2-4 hours

$875 for 6-8 hours

Family Sessions | Short film (video)

A 4-7 minute short film (video) can be added on to any session for an extra $125. Or, you may request a short film only in place of photography for the same investments listed above. Short films are a wonderful way to permanently capture your children’s voices and personalities. How did they run? What funny or interesting personality traits did they have? Were they introverted and sweet or outgoing and adventurous? These short films are an opportunity to see or feel your family in a way that photographs cannot capture.

All investments include photo editing and an online digital gallery with hi-res downloads. Prints and albums can be ordered via the gallery, or through me directly.

Family reunions | Partial Day

For families having a celebration with extended family, or need only a portion of their gathering/reunion captured. The session is documentary-based (no posing, fully candid), but with 30-45 minutes allotted for family portraits. $425 for 3 hours.

Family reunions | Full Day

For families having a long weekend (or full week) reunion who would like one day captured. As with partial days, all of the session time is documentary/un-posed except for an allotted 45-60 minutes for family portraits. Click the picture on the right to see an example of a full day family reunion session. $800 for 6 hours or $1000 for 8 hours.

Family Heritage Sessions

An in depth family reunion with multi-generational family members (preferably 3+ generations). I interview the family about their history and their hopes for the future, capture family portraits, then spend the rest of the session taking documentary-styled photos and also filming the gathering, so that I can create a time capsule of memories. The family is delivered both an online gallery and a 4-7 minute short film via Vimeo.com. $550, which includes a 2-3 hour session as well as the online gallery and short film.
